Nagado Daiko Kizuna

Best Quality Luxurious Taiko

Made of tamo (ash) wood. Tamo wood is called "meari" as well as sen (kalopanax). Meari wood is the second best material wood for taiko next to the keyaki (zelkova). In addition, it has kurinuki body, which means hollowed-out wood. Kurinuki body (hollowed-out body) has better sound quality than shusei body (constructed stave body). It produces great sounds with genuine cowhide skin. Tamo (ash) wood taiko has beautiful grain on the surface of the body as well as keyaki (zelkova). Unlike shusei type, the body grain isn't cut off at the joint part of the stave. In addition, it's equipped with the luxurious plates, which are beautifully engraved three-d two chrysanthemum plates. Taiko center proudly recommend this best quality nagado daiko in terms of the appearance and the sounds.
