Bamboo Hichiriki I am very pleased with the craftsmanship used in making the bamboo hichiriki. Because of the larger diameter of the bore of the instrument-due to the traditional tuning-I found that additional rice paper wrapped around the reed gave a better result,lengthened the reed out of the hichiriki giving subtler tuning.Thanks Andrew.
