I like that most Gagaku instruments have the resin option, as it would otherwise be prohibitively expensive to learn them all.
Hichiriki in particular benefits greatly from having a resin model, as a player can improve their equipment along with their technique simply by buying higher-quality reeds before taking the step of purchasing an entirely new instrument.

Thank you for having this resin / plastic model of the hichiriki available. It was good to have this model to play outside where I don't have to worry about it cracking in the high heat.

Fun and loud! Great if you hate your neighbors! I think I damaged the reed already, but I'm just a beginner, so I'll just get a new one and be more careful :)

Stupendous. Sound clear and with body, distant and every microtonal change feel like Japa. I play the bassoon, though, and i think reed can't be used by everybody because it's hard and since also an half millimeter less can change everything isn't that comfy not being able to touch them. I excepted it more "woody" but o would like to buy as much as I can to make an orchestra of some sort. Stupendous, as above

Very good experience!! Fast delivery and serious dealer. The hichiriki is well made and it looks like just the picture. I will buy more things from Taiko Centre
