I am excited to own this beautiful flute. It is very lightweight, and has a unique tone. Not too difficult to get a good embouchure when transferring from standard Western concert flute. I will admit, the flute tuning is very precise but it is not 100% perfect. I am happy with my purchase.

Made well, plays well, priced well. While there are more expensive models, this definitely meets a professional standard in both sound quality and aesthetics. The uppermost register (daikan) is very expressive. With some selective crossfingering, I've found this flute is capable of a balanced response across a full three octaves. The prerequisite technique for that may vary from player to player, but this is not the kind of flute one eventually "grows out of"; all techniques are possible at a high level.

This is a very nice flute. The low notes are warm, and the high notes are crisp & clear. I would recommend this flute, and I think it is a high quality flute especially for the price range. The only warning I have is that in G this is quite a large flute. I have large hands so I can play it without too much trouble, but I can imagine a person with smaller hands might have a little bit of trouble.
