An oil bottle is a container for holding painting fluids.

Oil bottles come in various types, such as abacus-shaped and cylindrical. Abacus-shaped bottles have the advantage that the painting fluid will not spill even if the bottle is tilted. They are available in metal, resin, and ceramic. The two-mouth bottles are designed to hold different painting fluids. For example, you can put painting oil and petrol in one and use them interchangeably when painting. Ceramic oil bottles are for indoor use and are convenient as they can hold large brushes. A small painting plate for Japanese painting can also be used instead of an oil bottle.

*If you leave the oil in the bottle after use, it may harden and the lid may become stuck or it may become unusable, so please put it in another bottle and wipe off the liquid at the opening.
