The name of the piece was derived from tenkoro boat raceEthat takes place in amano hashidate in Kyoto. A word, tenkoroEmeans the scenery that the boats are rolling. The highlight of the first half of the piece is an exciting rhythm-battle between nagado daiko and shime daiko. Then at the second half, the battle heats up with a high tempo as if the tenkoro boats are making a final burst forward to the finish line.
