This instrument is called tettou. Daihachi Oguchi, a starter of kumi daiko style invent this to make multiple players easy to play together because the high pitch and hard sounds of tettou are easy to listen. In addition, different sized iron tubes produce different sounds. The height is above the knee and below the belly button for adult male. Main part and foot part can be separated and height can be adjusted by these parts. Hard bachi is good for this instrument.
