Hyottoko is a character which often appears as a crown in dengaku, one of the Japanese traditional theaters. Hyottoko is famous for its wired dance and there are many festivals and performing arts that includes hyottoko dance throughout Japan. In addition, hyottoko is a well-known character in dojo sukui odori (pond loach-scooping dance) of Yasugi bushi, a traditional folk song and dance in Shimane prefecture. Dojo sukui odori is one of the popular party stunts in Japan. Its funny dance entertain people.
