So sukeroku daiko, a taiko group in Tokyo incorporated bon daiko into their modern taiko performance, this style is also called sukeroku style. Naname uchi (slant hitting) is more easy term for it. This playing style makes easier to get into the rhythm and play with dynamic motion. In bon odori dance, taiko is played in order to make dancers feel good and enjoy rhythm and dance.
