Uchiwa daiko is originally one of Buddhism ritual articles. Uchiwa means a fan in Japanese. Just like a fan, you can easily use an uchiwa daiko. Holding an uchiwa daiko with one hand and a bachi with another, you can move freely on stage and enjoy sounds which are very different from those of other taiko drums. Although the uchiwa daiko is very small, it makes and reflect a big sound. There are some sizes and unlisted sizes are also available. Please contact us for further information. Over 1.2 shaku uchiwa daiko makes big sounds like nagado daiko does. One bachi comes with it.
